It rained all day today. Including this morning for the 5Kilt. Because I had only learned about the run later this week, I was unable to register online ahead of time. It was 39 degrees F and pouring down toasters and ACME anvils at 9:30am this morning and I hadn't registered... I totally wimped out and didn't go and do the run. I didn't want Caleb and Finn to be standing out in the cold rain for a half hour and I didn't want to do the run totally alone, so I bailed on this one. But I DID run 5Ks on the treadmill to make up for it, so worry not, the mileage still got in there! I give it up to anyone who actually made it out there today. Couldn't have been the driest run ever.
I did some weight lifting after my run. I forgot how much that helps.
